Seventy years ago, Mike Abbott was working with his father, a painting contractor, and recognized the need for good customer service at paint shops. He started Abbott Paint & Carpet with a commitment to knowledge, experience and quality products. At age 91, Mike is still involved with the family business and his four sons have inherited his commitment to excellence. Abbott Paint & Carpet now has three locations—Stillwater, St. Paul and White Bear Lake—and son Dave Abbott runs the White Bear Lake store.
