Cravings has long been known for its decadent desserts and fabulous freshly prepared fare. Now those who are gluten-sensitive can also enjoy a wonderful meal on the town without any worries.
Awareness of the special dietary requirements of some customers isn’t new to the local eatery. "We have been doing this for a long time and we heard feedback from customers that they wanted gluten-free items, so we integrated them into our menu," says Kristi Otto, who is in charge of operations and marketing for both Cravings’ locations. "The location in Woodbury especially specializes in all dietary needs."
Customers who have food sensitivities have nothing to worry about when dining at any of the Cravings locations: the entire staff went through training last March, and everything from entrées to bakery items are made with separate utensils; different plates are used so customers know they are making a special effort.
"We teach our staff to be compassionate for those who have these dietary needs,” says Otto, “and make Cravings a place where they feel confident and comfortable.”
