Join Frassati Catholic Academy for the inaugural Frassati 5K, to be held on Friday night, September 22, 2017 at 6:30pm. Registration opens at 5:30pm and post race party/dinner/social event to follow. There will be a youth obstacle course by BearPower onsite for children who are not able to run in the 5K. This event raises crucial funds to support scholarships and operating costs for Frassati Catholic Academy while promoting health and community in White Bear Lake. All are welcome! This race starts at The Boatworks Commons, (4459 Lake Ave S) on beautiful White Bear Lake. The course is flat and fast, 5K runs north along the lake to West Park and then back. The 10K goes south to Cottage Park then North along the lake to Ramsey County Park into the White Bear Lake neighborhood before returning back to Lake Ave, and the Finish at The Boatworks Commons. For the past five years, St. Paul has hosted the Red Bull Crashed Ice event right outside the beautiful Cathedral of St. Paul. As the third event in the tour, Crashed Ice comes back to Minnesota, and is projected to draw crowds of up to 100,000. The second annual Mayors' Challenge Golf Tournament at Keller Golf Course June 13 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $150 per golfer or $550 per foursome and includes lunch, dinner, greens fees, cart and golf balls. Silent auction will also be held. Proceeds benefit Northeast Youth & Family Services, a nonprofit mental health and social service agency serving over 4,000 youth, adults and families in the northeastern suburban community. Kick off the holidays at the 6th annual Midwest Events Jingle Bear 5K and Kids Fun Run at the White Bear Lake Boatworks Marina.
