It’s Time for Vadnais Heights’ Annual Ice Cream Social Music in the Park

A night of fun and food is ahead at Vadnais Heights’ Ice Cream Social, a tradition that has been going on for over 30 years. The social will be held at Berwood Park, a familiar host. “We have had this event at Berwood Park for the last several years and found it to be a wonderful venue,” says Brigid Nault, recreation supervisor for the city of Vadnais Heights.

As a part of “Hot Dog with a Deputy,” free hot dogs, chips and water will be provided by the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department. After dinner, free ice cream will be provided by Culver’s.

One unique activity for people to participate in is pickle ball demonstrations and open play. “Pickleball is kind of new to the Midwest, so we thought it would be a fun thing for families to do,” Nault, says. The night will also include other fun things to do including bean bag games and face painting.

This year’s musical entertainment will be provided by The Bazillions, a family-friendly rock and roll band from Minneapolis.
