Lens on the Lake: A View from Above

Photographers work hard to capture great shots, indelible images; advances in technology have helped make those  aspirations a bit easier. And Chris Kieger with his photo, Relay for Life 2017, is a wonderful example of how impactful those shots can be when art and technology meet.

“I know a handful of people that participate in the Relay for Life in White Bear every year, and some of them suggested I drive over and try to get some pictures with my drone,” Kieger says. “This is probably one of my favorite photos I’ve taken with the drone, as it actually has some meaning behind it, on top of being an awesome picture of White Bear Lake High School’s home turf.”
