Lisa Reinhardt, owner of Lisa Reinhardt Makeup and Hair Artistry, shares some advice on how to glam it up this holiday season.
1. Pair a scarlet mouth with smoky eyes to look glamorous and festive at those holiday parties. First, enhance your lips with a nude lip liner to make the red look less intense, and then fill in your lips with a matte red lipstick. Blend your favorite chocolate shadow over your lids and make sure to blend well, diffusing the color at the crease with a shadow brush. Apply mascara and skip the black liner.
2. Gild your lids. Add a hint of gold shadow to the center of your lids and apply a bit of gold gloss over the center of your mouth. Don’t forget the metallic nail polish.
3. For party season, you want hair that’s smooth, shiny and low- maintenance. Set your hair in hot rollers for 15 minutes, then remove them and brush out the curls. Complete your look with a light finishing spray for perfect, all-over shine.
