That familiar building at 2222 Fourth St. was built in 1907 as a YMCA and has since gone on to act as White Bear Lake’s first movie theater, a knitting mill, a furniture factory, an antique shop and more. Today, the building stands as Kellerman’s Event Center, AC Upholstery, Big Wood Brewery, and Rosebud’s Cottage—and the renovations don’t stop there.
Slated to open in March, Kellerman’s Event Center will add a swanky 1,300-square-foot martini lounge. Terry Kellerman, owner of the building, knows a thing or two about renovations. After all, he and his wife Anne have invested tremendous amounts of time into revitalizing 2222 Fourth St.
“We’re trying to find good craft bartenders, and we’re going to be specializing in nice cocktails,” says Kellerman.
