Named after an elderly farmer from owner Greg Tegdesch’s childhood, Ozzie’s Ice Cream is open for summer scooping and is celebrating its first anniversary this month. With 32 hard-serve flavors, including unique varieties like black licorice and Irish coffee, and popular favorites like coconut joy and pirate’s booty, this ice cream haven will satisfy any palate. At $3 to $5, Ozzie’s portions are affordable with larger-than-life scoops. “We are really excited to get this summer going,” says Tegdesch. “We had such a great time getting to know the community.” And new this summer- Cravin’ Pie, small hand-held pies by local baker Krista Craven, a national award winner.
