Life coach Karen Carr offers advice for the new year.
Sometimes our lives just need a little refocusing. Karen Carr, who began her career as a life coach in 2001 to help guide those in times of transition, shares a few tips to make 2015 a great year:
- Choose your focus. Realize what your values are and live by them. If relationships are important to you, prioritize them over things like work and other commitments.
- Don’t put off “the thing” any longer—you know which thing. Write that novel. Run that marathon. Make 2015 the year it happens.
- Reflect and take time for yourself. Whether it’s five minutes or 30, use that time to meditate, take a walk or journal.
- Do something generous every day without telling anyone.
- Smile, just for yourself.
