Since 1990, Chuck & Don’s Pet Food & Supplies has been a perfect one-stop shop for pet products. From the bare necessities like food and grooming products to unique and quirky toys, the rapidly growing retailer’s 36 stores across the country have nearly everything a pet could want or need. Now, there’s even more at the Mahtomedi location, which recently finished a remodeling and expansion—a treat for animals and animal lovers alike.
The expansion, which began in spring 2016 and was completed in the fall, involved adding onto the back of the existing building to expand floor space. “There’s a lot more room for customers to walk around and bring their pets. There’s a greater sense of openness and welcome that we were able to maintain by doing the remodel,” says Julie Simmons, district manager. “The biggest change is the customer experience.”
