Pizza Man and Ozzie’s Hold Customer Appreciation Event

For more than 20 years, the family-run restaurant, Pizza Man of White Bear Lake, has put customers first. This tradition started when the restaurant first opened, and over the years, even though owners have changed, the appreciation for customers has not.

Seeking a change from the corporate world, Farrell and Kim Tuohy bought the restaurant in early 2013. “About 25 years ago, I looked at buying a Pizza Man restaurant, but was scared about the risk,” says Farrell. “Then later on, the opportunity just fell into our laps.” Since then, the couple has made it a goal to meet the customer’s expectations by providing great food and superior service.

Farrell began to brainstorm ways to give back to the patrons. “I wanted to become more involved in the community,” says Farrell, leading to the customer appreciation event, for which Pizza Man partners with Ozzie’s Ice Cream. This year will be the event’s second year, and will include free food from both Pizza Man and Ozzie’s, plus games, prizes and drawings. “It’ll be a large get-together and give us a chance to get to know people,” says Farrell, “and they’ll get a chance to meet us.”
