Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
What are you most insecure about?
Other people’s perception of me.
What are three interesting facts about you?
I’ve skied the Mora Vasaloppet since I was 7 years old. I have siblings who are married and siblings who are babies. I had Lyme’s disease when I was in middle school.
What’s your secret talent?
Making muffins.
Who inspires you to be better?
All of my teachers, coaches, Scout leaders and my mom.
What weird food combinations do you really enjoy?
Peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
What was the best compliment you’ve received?
That I’m a good leader and a good person.
What irrational fear do you have?
Talking about myself like I am for this article.
What small gesture from a stranger made a big impact on you?
One time I went to Cossetta’s in St. Paul and thought I had money in my wallet; I got to the cash register and didn’t have any money. I was going to give my food back, but they gave it to me for free.
What’s something that all your friends agree on?
We all agree on the importance of working hard and having fun.
