I think pizza is by far one of the best things you can make on an outdoor grill. During the summer, I grill pizza at least once a week. Our bakery makes the best fresh pizza dough—which is the hardest part about homemade pizza. It’s one of those hidden gems that once customers find it, they can’t get enough of. It looks a little intimidating in the package, but it’s very soft and fairly sticky, and it’s coated in a generous layer of olive oil to give it great flavor. A Community of Artists

Artists Allen Christian and Mary Jane LaVigne

White Bear Lake is a sea of creatives. In this artistic community, two of my favorite artists are Allen Christian and Mary Jane LaVigne. Known around town as Mr. and Mrs. Lucky, this talented couple even has their own museum, House of Balls, in Minneapolis. If you’ve seen a giant pedal bear in a parade, decorated Art Cars around town, a Roaring ’20s band on a boat with a pyramid of water skiers beside it, a pontoon bear on the lake or fireworks shooting out of metal hats, chances are, you’ve seen them in action.
