With summer finally here, it’s time to chill down during the hot weather with some delicious frozen treats. Cup and Cone and Ozzie’s, both locally owned and operated in White Bear Lake, offer a plethora of ice cream and soft-serve flavors that will keep you cool all summer long.

Cup and Cone

Since 1973, Cup and Cone has been serving up their tasty soft-serve to the White Bear Lake community. The shop offers a variety of delicious options, including the bestselling orange sherbet and the crunchie creme (a delectable combination of candybar pieces and soft-serve in a cup or cone). This summer, Cup and Cone has added a new machine to the shop that serves lactose- and gluten-free soft-serve. Flavors from this machine will rotate throughout the season and include options such as banana split and chocolate mint. 2126 Fourth St., White Bear Lake; 651.426.1498.

Ozzie’s

This summer will mark Ozzie’s third year selling delicious ice cream in White Bear Lake. The shop, which is decorated like a traditional ice cream parlor, has more than 32 flavors, including kids’ favorite Superman, coconut joy (based on the Almond Joy candy bar), and pirate’s booty. Ozzie’s also offers malts made from any of their flavors, using real malted milk. 4687 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake; 651.426.3180.
