White Bear Lake Magazine wins awards.
With a huge dose of humility and an even greater amount of pride, I am sharing the news that White Bear Lake Magazine won two (yes, two!) Minnesota Magazine & Publishing Association (MMPA) gold awards at last night’s awards ceremony. The honors went to the February ’13 cover, which featured Stacia Wilson, The Skin & Brow Girl, and a March feature by Andy Greder entitled Shadow Boxing, which highlighted local boxers with the White Bear Boxing Club. We are teary and more than a little giddy with this wonderful accomplishment.
