White Bear Township Day
White Bear Township Day returns this year on September 17 from 2-8 p.m. in Polar Lakes Park with a fun-filled day of family-friendly activities including live music, community demonstrations, the Viking Automotive Car Show, and Town Hall tours and BINGO. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Pan-Handlers Steel Drum Band, WBL Drumline, and Inside Straight, followed by a spectacular fireworks display at dusk. Classic & Vintage Boat Show
Mark your calendar for the 15th Annual Classic and Vintage Boat Show in White Bear Lake on June 25th, near the shoreline by Kowalskis. The event will consist of up to 50 boats displayed on land, including inboard, outboard, row/paddle and sailboats. There will be six award categories for voting by attendees and a new Nautical Market to browse and shop. Captain Jack Sparrow will be making an appearance.

Dairy Day and Ice Cream Social
Heigh-ho the DAIRY-oh! June is Dairy Month, so join us to celebrate all things dairy. Learn how to milk a cow or make butter! PLUS, meet Princess Kay of the Milky Way, Brenna Connelly! Open House at Bruentrup Heritage Farm
Browse exhibits and learn the history of Maplewood and the Bruentrup dairy farm. Check out exhibits on Gladstone and New Canada Township; interact with the 3M "Magically Adhered" exhibit; see a 1923 Pirsch fire truck; even get a guided tour of the 1912 farmhouse & buildings. Plus, on Sundays, we will have demonstrations of vintage machines such as rope-making, corn shelling or woodworking. We will also have crafts such as corn husk dolls or spatter painting. Staying in the Fight
Representative John Lewis, a civil rights activist who fought alongside Dr. King called on all Americans to get in the fight and stay in the fight. In this program, influential Black leaders discuss their groundbreaking work: delivering innovative solutions all the while challenging activists and allies alike to get in and stay in the fight for racial equity. HBCU Legacy of Leadership
From Dr. King to Kamala Harris, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) produce Black American leaders and legends who advance our society. This panel discussion will explore the origin story of HBCUs, how they are critical to the health of our communities, and how local civil rights leaders like Roy Wilkins and Marvel Cook advocated for HBCUs in the North.
