Don't miss your chance to see an incredible international talent this weekend! Alexander Yakovlev, winner of the World Piano Competition, returns to Mahtomedi Friday, May 2 to perform a preview concert of his upcoming Carnegie Hall Recital.

Yakovlev, born in Russia, began studying music at the age of 6 and has gone on to receive more than 50 first prizes at prestigious international  piano competitions. Yakovlev will perform pieces from Mozart, Mussorgsky and more at the White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church in Mahtomedi before beginning his tour with the 2014 International Lovere Festival.

Tickets will be available 45 minutes before the performance begins for $15. Please plan to come early to secure a seat.
