Taste of White Bear Lake returns for its sixth year of delectable food and live music. The venue offers food samples from 20 restaurants, including Donatelli’s, EAT!@Banning and 5th, Keys Café and Bakery, and many more. There will also be wine tasting and a silent auction. The event, held at Pine Tree Apple Orchard, draws more than 600 people, and is a perfect way to relax. “People like to hang out, drink and talk,” says Craig Drake, president-elect of the White Bear Lake Rotary Club, which hosts the event.
All proceeds go to the Rotary Foundation, which is part of an international organization dedicated to humanitarian efforts. One of 30,000 clubs in the world, the White Bear Lake Rotary Club has been serving the community since 1979. Funds raised from the event will go to various causes, including sponsoring the Lakeshore Players and other organizations.
