It’s that time of year again, and both Winterfest and the tree lighting at Triangle Park are back with all the classic Christmas delights that are sure to be fun for the whole family.
This year, Winterfest takes place on three Saturdays, December 6, 13 and 20, in downtown White Bear Lake. Trolley rides will be available, and kids can take photos with Santa from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The big man will also have breakfast with you at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Check explorewhitebear.org for more details.
The tree lighting at Triangle Park will take place December 5 at 6:30 p.m. This is the singular fundraiser for the Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf, and all proceeds and food donations help those who rely on this organization. Last year, the Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf raised more than $8,000. Cookies and hot chocolate will be provided at the event. Tree lights can be purchased online at stjudeofthelake.org.
