Have you ever driven by a home and said, “I want to live there one day.” After 20 years in the making, White Bear Lake residents Marilyn and Jim Muellner are one couple that made such a dream a reality, proving the phrase “Anything worth having is worth waiting for.”

No one wants a child to be hospitalized any day of the year, let alone on Christmas. But as part of one of the largest children’s health care organizations in the United States, the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of St. Paul is a home for the holidays for many Minnesota kids.

After 20 years of living in their Lino Lakes home, the Squires family was tired of their tiny, dark kitchen, whose walls cut off more than just homeowner Michelle Squires’ desire to cook. “We seriously looked into moving, but we really love our neighborhood and our lot,” says Michelle Squires.
