One reason to look forward to the cooler temperatures is Brian Mielke’s semi-annual pottery sale, which is determined by the weather and colors of the trees; this fall’s sale is set for early October.
Mielke has been crafting pottery for 20 years, and 15 years ago started selling his pieces out of his garage, which is now filled to the brim with tea sets, jam jars, dinnerware, bird baths, planters and other functional, affordable pieces that he calls his “little clay babies.”
