Great food is the focus at the annual Taste of White Bear Lake event.
It’s time to treat your taste buds at the annual Taste of White Bear Lake event on September 12 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Pine Tree Apple Orchard. Gene Altstatt, a member of the Rotary Club of White Bear Lake, founded the event four years ago, and it’s been growing in size and scope ever since. Altstatt says they expect more than 600 attendees this year to sample some of the area’s tastiest food, beer and wine from more than 25 vendors; there will also be live music, raffles and other activities. Tickets, which are $35, can be purchased at tasteofwhitebearlake.com and include unlimited tasting during the day’s events. All proceeds help raise funds for Rotary projects in town and across the world.
