White Bear Lake resident Sara Carlson of Sara Haley Photography was shooting a June wedding for couple Nikki and Josh Trulen. After the newlyweds finished their vows, they proposed a special stop before their reception. So in between the ceremony and the reception at The Station Pub & Event Center, the wedding party and Carlson did just that: They went for ice cream. “The couple was from White Bear Lake and they thought it’d be fun to go to the Cup and Cone,” says Carlson. Although it was raining slightly, Nikki and Josh were not deterred from going on the adventure between their wedding events. During the outing, Carlson was able to snap this fantastic shot, “Wedding Night,” of the two and their sweet treats.
