A new Goodthings experience has been in the works for a while, and now the women’s shop, complete with more of their fabulous clothes, shoes and accessories, is open just a few steps away from the original location. And, what’s even cooler? They now have a collection of yoga fashions and activewear in the lower level, and are planning on offering yoga classes sometime in the fall. Sign me up! And if you want all those great gifts, home décor and kids’ items Goodthings is famous for, you can still find them at the original location.
It’s wonderful how food can bring folks together. Last night, my husband David and I attended a spaghetti fundraiser for St. Jude’s Food Shelf at Coventry of Mahtomedi. Our plates were brimming with spaghetti and meatballs, and the room was abuzz as folks enjoyed the meal armed with the knowledge they were helping bring food to someone in need.
I met with Gary Woeltge, Steve Hall and Nick Coughlin, employees at H20 for Life, last October and immediately fell in love with their organization. I, as well as others I assume, so often search for ways that we can help a worthy cause.
My husband and I had a delightful time at the White Bear Area Chamber Gala a few weeks back. It was an evening filled with wonderful music, terrific food (including a stunning array of beautiful, decadent desserts) and fabulous folks. I even got a few story ideas!
