St. Croix Ballet Presents Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty, one of the world's most enduring and beloved fairy tales, tells the story of Princess Aurora who has an evil spell cast on her by the angry and wicked fairy, Carabosse. The Lilac Fairy, the fairy of wisdom, triumphs over the evil fairy leaving Aurora to sleep for 100 years only to be awakened by the kiss of the Brave Prince who follows the Lilac Fairy to the palace where the princess sleeps. Aurora and the Prince are married surrounded by Aurora's fairy tale friends and the Good Fairies who have bestowed the gifts of inner beauty on the Princess. Marketfest

Marketfest is a summer festival that features more than 150 vendors each week that offer a wide variety of arts, crafts, merchandise, services, and foods. The event also includes 2 stages of live musical entertainment, children's games and activities, a petting zoo, a farmer’s market, and a classic car show.  An estimated 4,000-5,000 people attend each Thursday evening. See and Celebrate Young Talent

See the work of talented local youth in this juried art show, with work by students in grades 9-12 who live in the Northeast Metro area.
The exhibition includes recent 2D and 3D works, including drawings, paintings, fiber, pottery, photography, and sculptures. Art will be available for sale.

Leonard Bernstein’s Candide presented by VocalEssence and Theater Latté Da

Romance and comedy abound in this theatrical concert version of the classic operetta, originally adapted from a work by Voltaire. The VocalEssence Ensemble Singers and Chorus, accompanied by a full orchestra, present a rousing “opera for the people.”
