Directed by Gorden Hedahl, Noises Off, a comical play staged at Lakeshore Players Theatre, is a fun, backstage farce.
The production begins as a normal play—until, that is, an actor playing the director walks on stage and begins directing. Behind-the-scenes hilarity ensues and features “showmances” between actors, diva performers and actors with mediocre acting ability.
“It’s a comedy that is light-hearted and fun to watch,” says Ben Ratkowski, artistic director.
