Don’t miss this year’s White Bear Lake Township Day on September 14 at Polar Lakes Park. Festivities will start at 2 p.m. and include fun for the whole family, with children’s games and activities, a petting zoo, interactive displays from community organizations like the fire department, food vendors, an arts and crafts market, and live entertainment, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display.Named the new director of White Bear Lake Township Day last January, Angela Homic hopes to showcase all of the artists, services and vendors the area has to offer. “White Bear Township Day gives the locals a chance to come out to a beautiful park, meet up with their neighbors, enjoy free music, shop a little, eat a lot and then watch the last fireworks of the season,” she says. “It’s a perfect way to end the summer and even better way to start the fall.”
