Heading to the White House

Local educator participates in presidential inauguration ceremony.

It’s always a treat to receive press releases about the goings on of the people, places, businesses and organizations from our corner of the world. Sometimes they turn into stories, sometimes calendar events and sometimes, the news is so exciting and timely, that I need to mention them in a blog; so that's what I'm going to do.

According to a recent press release from White Bear Lake Area Public Schools, Tiffany Wilson-Worsley, community and family specialist at Willow Lane Elementary, has made her way to Washington D.C. for the presidential inauguration ceremony where she will serve as an official inauguration volunteer on the security team. And once her volunteer duties are completed she will watch the ceremony from a seat in the audience! Please join me in congratulating her on this wonderful accomplishment!

Have something neat going on in your life? Want to share it with the readers of White Bear Lake Magazine? Just drop me a note and I'll see where I can fit it in.

Don't forget to vote in our inaugural Best of White Bear Lake!!
